After a gap of almost 5 years, we were asked to revisit the look and feel of the Atmosphere retail experience.
In the Colaba store in Mumbai, we looked at the familiar sweeping wall display housing hangers with individual swatches for display, niches for their new line of bedding and horizontal slits to house an array of made up items like cushions.
However after some deliberations and interactions with our clients, we consciously introduced warmer tones and elements within the store. The most prominent of these changes is the introduction of a screed cement flooring, and an eclectic array of dark wood furniture showing the potential customer the varied possibilities of the fabrics’ use.
We created a changing bed display that would be visible from the street, and dining chairs around a central design discussion table where clients could sit at hold discussions, while being surrounded by the thousands of silk and silk-blended fabric on offer.
