We were commissioned to design a 4500 sft. specialty Mediterranean restaurant within Anya, an business hotel located within the hi-tech district in Gurgaon.
We created an interplay of material, pattern, colour, and texture, which would be reflective of the mood of the Mediterranean coast.
An expanse of terrazzo tile flooring is broken in certain sections with a geometric pattern in sea green and beige. The walls in distressed white brick and maple wood offset an exposed ceiling.
An array of closely arranged lemon yellow pipes form and arced divider between the entrance foyer and the lounge bar. Comfortable retro styled lounge seating in blue and ochre, woven fiber pendants and floor lamps were custom designed by us for this space.
The restaurant area which is segregated from the lounge by a series of linear live cooking stations has a mix of booth seating, individual and communal tables. Chalk written blackboards have the daily specials, a composition of rustic accessories adorn niches, while mid-century dining chairs complete the setting.
