Our client’s vision was to build 12 well appointed luxury Villas, each on one-acre parcels, on a 13.5 acre forested hill near the Siolim village of North Goa.
The Villas were to be fully serviced by a management team and the intention was to sell them to discerning buyers as holiday homes to be used for a few months each year.
Owing to the attraction of getting ready-to-occupy homes, we conceived of custom fabricated sustainable timber and thatch structures that would be manufactured entirely in a factory, shipped to site and then erected within a span of 6 months. We also meticulously conceived of each and every piece of furniture, fixture, artwork, lighting and accessory for the Villas, and visualized the scheme for landscaping.
Configurations were for a 3 or 4 bedroom villa, equipped with an internal open-to-sky courtyard, an entertainment deck with a pool, living and family rooms, outdoor dining spaces, 2 kitchens and luxurious bedrooms with attached tropical bathrooms.
The plinth as well as bathrooms was conceived of as on-site components that would be constructed in a local black random rubble stone.
